An Embodiment private session consists of traditional asana postures with fascial awakening and grounding manual movement. This approach is intended to create shift in the body’s tissues holding patterns of rigidity and tension, ultimately creating positive change in one’s  central and peripheral nervous systems, while enhancing one’s own body awareness. Additionally students will be supported in learning how to practice daily self care to better support a flow response in the body’s physiological processes. Students will leave feeling more open in body and mind, while also more deeply attuned to their body’s felt experience, aiding in a mindful embodied presence.

This is very gentle and light work within the fascia that unravels tension from the endpoints of the body (hands, feet, pelvic floor, face and head), so that space, lightness, and fluidity can be experienced in the whole body. This approach is different than a traditional massage in that it is working directly with the autonomic nervous system, supporting the awakening of one's ventral vagus response. This powerful neurological state supports:

  • movement of fluids

  • anti-inflammatory effect

  • emotional processing / regulation

  • improved blood and fluid flow to brain to combat brain fog

  • deeper connection with oneself, body, and soul

  • slowing down of thoughts and clarity of mind

  • deep relaxation of muscles

We offer therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, cupping therapy, sports massage, vedic Thai yoga body work, and reiki. Body work improves circulation, posture, reduces stress, and can be used as injury prevention.

Therapeutic massage is used for general relaxation, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. It is used to rebalance the nervous system from the inside out. This can be performed fully clothed or draped.

Deep tissue massage is used to relieve chronic tension through slow, deliberate strokes of deep pressure on contacted muscles, tendons, and fascia. It provides relief for chronic tension and acute muscle spasms.

Cupping therapy use cups that suction the toxins from the body and release stagnant fascia. Cupping releases rigid tissue, drains excessive fluids and toxins, loosens adhesion, lifts connective tissue, and brings blood flow to stagnant skin and muscles. Cupping helps to relax the nervous system and is used as pain management. It will also help improve blood circulation, blood pressure, joint pain, sciatica, fibromyalgia, rheumatism, neuralgia, edema, chronic headaches, anxiety, and fatigue. It is suitable for practically every disease of the digestive, circulatory, and respiratory system. It will leave round marks that will go away in 3-7 days.

Sports massage utilizes specific strokes and stretches to help obtain maximum performance and physical condition with less chance of injury or pain. This helps to obtain maximum conditioning by increasing power, endurance, and flexibility both before and after an event or workout.

Reiki is an ancient form of Japanese bodywork that aims to unblock stagnation in the body which allows for the free flow of vital energy that gives feeling of peace and well-being. It is a light to no touch modality that helps to bring balance and ease stress. You may experience feeling lighter, clarity, a new sense of direction, or increased positivity.
