Jill took her first yoga class in 2003, but did not start a consistent practice until years later when she found herself feeling unhealthy in her life as a mom to a medically fragile daughter.   Through a consistent yoga practice and completion of a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course, she found a deep connection and love of the practices of yoga and mindfulness, both on and off the mat.   These practices helped her achieve strength and acceptance, and the space to find understanding in the gift she was given through her relationship with her greatest teacher, her daughter.  

She completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training course at Solid Roots Yoga in 2016 and in 2019 she will further her training by becoming a certified instructor with the internationally recognized Yoga Tune Up program.  Jill’s classes integrate movement, breath and stillness in a joyful and encouraging environment.  She  believes that yoga is an integral part to finding your way through the clutter of our modern world and into a spacious life with more ease and contentment.
