Join Nina McCormack in exploring mind/body tools that amplify your body’s internal guidance on improving health and wellbeing.
Nina will demonstrate and try a range of body-listening techniques (including ‘muscle-testing’) so each participant can quickly find an approach that works for him/her. We focus on how our bodies react to known ideas, then hold food samples to experience how body feedback currently varies in response to other foods/ideas. And we snack on those munchies that appeal to us as we go!
Then we apply our body-listening skills to a real life issue you would like to shift. We’ll learn one approach used to release disabling emotions and another used to instill enabling (subconscious) beliefs.
This introductory workshop supports participants in developing an interactive relationship with their own internal guidance.
With this foundation participants can
Recognize thoughts activities or even foods that our bodies may be suggesting for reconsideration
Identify blocks or sabotaging dynamics interfering with progress towards goals
Clarify what our body senses we need to move forward
As one aligns reflexes with goals, all sorts of physical and emotional dynamics shift in positive directions. With these approaches, clients have obtained ideal weight, released physical pain, relieved chronic symptoms and conditions, reduced sensitivities and improved their lives and relationships.
This workshop is appropriate for individuals learning to address health and life challenges as well as therapists and practitioners expanding their complementary approaches.
Join Embry Jacobs for a four week family yoga series. All ages are welcome! Stress accumulates in the body causing symptoms such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, autoimmune disease, and sleep disorders to name an array. These classes will include mindful body movement, nervous system soothing breathing practices, self-massage techniques, and relaxation practices. Lots of goodness in these classes that are so much more than your traditional yoga class.

Your fascia is your body's connective tissue. It is everywhere and is what connects the tissue in your feet to the tissue around your brain. Within this connective matrix reside neurological pathways and highways where your cells communicate to one another, supporting vitality in health and well-being. However, when your body is tense, communication is shut down and cells aren't able express their intelligent potential, causing disease to set in.
We have a lot of control over our biology and the expression of our genes. We just need to learn how to unburden the tension from our bodies, in order for our brain and body's intelligence to be supported. We are in the midst of a massive paradigm shift in how we understand the human experience and what health truly is and the fascia plays a critical role in both aspects of your life.
