Colin grew up in Central America and Africa, but moved to Lexington in 2008, where he has lived ever since. He first discovered yoga as a complimentary form of exercise to his demanding weight-lifting routine in 2011. After years of practicing only via internet videos and spontaneous home practice, Colin decided he wanted to learn more about the yoga world and enrolled in Solid Roots Yoga's first teacher training program, from which he earned his 200-hour teaching certification. He now enjoys leading vigorous flow practices with an emphasis on mindful breathing. He hopes his classes will allow his students to see the fantastic things a consistent practice can do for the body and the mind.
